In October last year the first TOKYO VANSANKAI was held at Tabloid (see photos here). The event brought together creatives from various fields for a night of performance, photography, art, exhibitions and more. VANSANKAI returns this August to new location in Aoyama (more info on that soon).
Tokyo Dandy was responsible for the Creative Direction of this years key visual (pictured here). Our aim was to create something that combined the worlds of Kabuki and performance with Avant-Garde Japanese Fashion. We cast Rila Fukushima in a Japanese Noir setting and she was transformed into a Geisha-like Femme Fatale with hair and make up artist Nara Yuya. See more images on the website below, we’ll have more information on the line-up and participants for this years TOKYO VANSANKAI soon.
